If we want success in this world and the Hereafter, we must shape our daily lifestyle completely according to Islam. Our daily lifestyle includes earning, eating, drinking, sleeping, and interacting with people. Bringing all these actions in line with the teachings of Islam and deen is the real path to success.
Importance of Halal Earning
Islam teaches that the wealth we earn must be completely halal — free from deceit, unfair profit, and lies. If these things enter our earnings, that wealth becomes haram, and haram income is like smoke of Jahannam. Today, many people cheat in business, sell faulty products, overcharge, and deceive buyers by praising low-quality goods. Food and daily items are filled with adulteration. If we do such acts, our earnings bring no benefit; instead, they bring difficulties and hardships. Even a small amount of halal income becomes blessed by Allah, but a large amount of haram wealth becomes a burden, a source of trials and misfortune.

Sunnah Eating Practices
Eating is a daily need for every human being, and Islam teaches us to follow the method of the Prophet ﷺ while eating. We should begin with the dua, eat from what is in front of us, eat while sitting unless there is a valid reason, recite the dua even if remembered in the middle, look at the food before eating, avoid finding faults in the food, recite the dua and thank Allah after finishing, and eat calmly without haste. If we follow these Sunnahs, we gain reward, and the food brings strength and blessings to our body, inshaAllah.
Time Management in Islam
Time is one of Allah’s greatest blessings. Allah has sent us into this world for a fixed period, but we do not know how long we have. We often delay both worldly and religious tasks by saying we don’t have time, yet we never realize when youth ends and when death approaches. That is why Islam commands us to do everything on time — sleeping on time, waking up on time, eating, drinking, praying, and managing daily affairs on time. This discipline makes life easier. Today many young people waste their time by staying awake late at night and waking up late in the morning, which ruins their routine. Therefore, punctuality is essential; otherwise, we only end up regretting later, wishing we could get that time back.

Strengthening Faith Daily
Strengthening faith daily is just as important as strengthening the body. Just like we eat, drink, and exercise to keep our body strong, we must also strengthen our iman every day by praying regularly, reciting the Qur’an, and doing the daily remembrance of Allah. This keeps our faith firm. But if we delay these actions for even two or three days, weakness begins to enter the heart — just like the body becomes weak if we stop eating or drinking for a few days. Therefore, daily prayer, dhikr, and Qur’an recitation are essential for maintaining strong iman. May Allah grant us the ability to act upon this.
